Reverend Eddie Coakley began serving at Buncombe Road Baptist Church in August of 2003.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Theology from Wheaton College.
He also has a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
At the age of 16, Pastor Eddie surrendered to the ministry. He has served in a number of ministries since that time.
Eddie's desire is to see people come to a saving knowledge of Christ and to help them grow in their faith.
Eddie is originally from Nashville, Tennessee.
He and his wife, Kelly, have a daughter, Emma Grace, and you will probably hear all about her in Eddie's sermons!
Jeremy Powers began his service with our church in August of 2009.
Jeremy's philosophy of Music Ministry is simple: While Jesus is worthy of our greatest attempts at musical excellence, a heart of worship pleases God more. Yet most pleasing of all is when we offer Him both.
Jeremy has lived in South Carolina all of his life, calling Greenville his home since 2001.
He and his wife, Julie, graduated from North Greenville University in 2005 and were married shortly thereafter.
In August of 2008, the Lord multiplied their family by giving them twin girls, Ali and Kate, whom they stay very busy chasing!
Amber Mathis has a heart for making sure children truly know God.
Since joining the staff in 2006, she has worked very hard helping children learn to worship.
Amber is originally from Alabama and has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from The University of Mobile.
She also attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for two years, and has worked
with children for almost seven years.
She is married to Dr. Donny Mathis. He is a professor at North Greenville University.

Melinda McCormack keeps things running smoothly around the office.
She began serving the church in the fall of 2006. God has blessed her with the gift of organization and it comes in handy!
Melinda is from Denmark, South Carolina. She and her husband, Bobby, have three children and two grandsons.
